Associate Attorney Jessica Arnold
Jessica was born and raised in Asheville, North Carolina and graduated from T.C. Roberson High School. She graduated cum laude from North Carolina State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science and a Bachelor’s Degree in Spanish. After graduating from college, Jessica pursued her law degree at Campbell University, where she graduated in the top 10% of her class.
After graduation, Jessica began her law career at a small firm in Fuquay-Varina, North Carolina, where she handled matters ranging from estate planning/administration, civil litigation, landlord tenant disputes, personal injury and traffic tickets. Deciding to narrow her practice area, Jessica joined the local law firm DeMent Askew & Johnson in 2015 as a criminal defense attorney. Jessica gained valuable experience in handling various criminal misdemeanors and felonies, including but not limited to assault cases, Driving While Impaired offenses, sex offenses, financial crimes and drug cases.
After five years of state criminal defense practice at DeMent Askew & Johnson, Jessica joined Tarlton Polk to continue her legal career and expand her practice areas into federal court.
